Geographical introduction

Ramgati upazila of Laxmipur district has an area of 26.00 sq km. It is bounded on the north by Kamalnagar and Noakhali Sadar upazilas, on the east by Sonapur and Subarnachar upazilas of Noakhali district, on the south by Sonapur, Subarnachar, Hatia and Meghna rivers of Noakhali district, on the west by Daulatkhan, Bhola and Meghna rivers.
